Hey I’m Chris. I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. I’ve studied music theory and music production. I’ve played in a lot of bands and spent time playing as a DJ in a lot of clubs.

I also received my BA in Advertising from the University of North Texas in 2004. During my advertising and marketing career, I have worked with many local and national brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Doubletree, Cinemark, Traxxas, Michaels and Mary Kay. I even won a few awards along the way.

In 2012, I started my own advertising agency with my wife called 2930 Creative. The DIY principles I learned growing up as a musician in the punk scene really helped me survive as a business owner.

In 2018, I transitioned out of the agency and into being a full-time podcast producer. Since then, I have produced hundreds of hours of podcasts for many different kinds of clients.

In 2020, I launched the Ska Punk International podcast which I expanded into Ska Punk International Records in May 2021. In that time, I’ve talked to so many amazing bands and musicians as well as released many bands from around the world. I’ve helped a lot of those bands receive press coverage too.

My career has been a little all over the place but it turns out music marketing and PR are what I’ve been looking for all along. Nothing makes me happier than helping to expose a band I love to a new group of people or getting one of my favorite songs placed on a new playlist. I’ve finally found what I’m meant to do.
